Why aren't these good people climbing all over the social networks? Members have already given permission to be approached and they bring with them easy access to referrals. It is a fundraisers dream.
- Establishing and maintaining a personal relationship with givers.
- Showing how funding changes the life of specific groups and people.
- Connecting with a group of people on their own terms
- There are 30 million potential givers out there
Get your fundraisers involved. You may need an "Online Community Organiser" as defined by Seth Godin here but may have to grow your own - there aren't many of them about
Do it now before commercial interests get involved and it all gets seedy and we suddenly discover "friends" whose common interest is our insurance and pension arrangements or whether we will be changing our car soon.
